Some one had presented me a free copy of linux 1992-1993. I think from that time I am in love with this penguin..
You can say I was forced to use this OS but I realized that it was one beautiful incident in my life.
Unfortunately / Fortunately one fine day I found that my windows 3.11 system has crashed and my floppy drive is not reading the Original Win 3.11 floppy. I had no other go except installing some OS to complete my C project which was due for submission in a couple of weeks. Getting software installed by some one was on those days a quite tough task.
So started with GNU/Linux and for more than 2 years I had continued using Linux on my Intel 8 MHz 8 MB RAM system before finding out how to use LILO for dual boot on my Pentium 166MHz MMX 32 MB RAM 1GB HDD in 1996 . I still have that system running Linux and I use that as a router.
