Description
This test case is to check that characters/fonts are correctly displayed and translated in applications. If the application should be able to 'speak' foreign languages (English is the mother tongue here), try a few of them, this involves output, prompts, menu items and window contents (GUI applications only).
How to test
- Launch system-config-language by terminal or click system->language from desktop.
- Select a language for system and restart.
- Run an application which should be able to 'speak' foreign languages.
- Check the fonts/rendering/characters in the applications such as output, prompts, menu items and window contents.
- Examine also encoding sanity in man pages.
Expected Results
- System reboot successfully to the selected language.
- Characters/Rendering are displayed properly in the application.
