Package Selection In Fedora Installer
The package selection feature and user interface in Fedora Installer has been revamped for Fedora Core 5. The earlier package selection offered four different categories. Screenshot of this is available from
The earlier categorisation of the available packages had a number of end users selecting the custom package selection option since the other groups were not always in sync with their needs. The new user interface is a effort to address in a manner which makes the effort of package selection easier for end users. A mockup of the new user interface is available from Image:http://people.redhat.com/~katzj/tasksel.png.
