These are things we need to do better for the next release.
- Watch for posts in community-submission news sites like Slashdot. If comments get something egregiously wrong, correct them lightly with a positive, cordial attitude. Do not feed the trolls, though.
- Actively write Slashdot comments pointing out the salient points of the release, because the original news post always fails to point at the best parts.
- Have more timed, coordinated effort to send out stories to community sites like digg, etc. Have these stories prepared in advance and ready to hit the button when the time comes.
