  7. Have you participated in an open-source project before? If so, please send us URLs to your profile pages for those projects, or some other demonstration of the work that you have done in open-source. If not, why do you want to work on an open-source project this summer?
    • I haven't participated in open-source project before. I want to spend the summer working on an FOSS project because I want to hone my skills in real-world problem and to work with and learn from experienced, passionate programmers. Till now, I have always been benefiting from the community, but now I want to be a developer and do something for the community in return while gaining valuable experience as an apprentice.
