Summary

Would be good to have a nice way of supporting dogtail scripts with anaconda for testing anaconda UI

Patches from Alexander Todorov have been integrated. Now we just need to see what problems we may run into and what else still needs to be added for full support. Lots more stuff using glade in anaconda would be a big help.

Detailed Description

We should support an easier way of integrating with dogtail scripts to make the UI of anaconda more testable.

Benefit to Fedora

More testing is better!

Documentation

The dogtail' option is added to command line parameters. The command below will boot Anaconda and instruct it to load a test case located at the given URL.

linux dogtail=http://server/script.py

The dogtail feature will be accessible via command line arguments and not kickstart. For the reasoning see bug #236915 .
