Guideline Creating Tips

  • Read any of the other guidelines.
  • Things we look for in guidelines:
    • SpecFile templates.
    • Proper locations for files to be installed.
    • Proper way to build things.
    • Any issues with rpmlint that might crop up.
    • Enough information for a reviewer who has no understanding of this programming language to do a good review.
