Name and interests
Hello, my name is Thom. I am a computing science student at the university, in the first year of my master. Approximatly one year ago I obtained my BA in software development at an university of applied sciences. Pretty much all of my interests lie in and around the computer. This includes, but is not limited to developing software, listening to music, movies and series and some gaming.

Activities within Fedora
Unfortunatly I have not contributed to the Fedora project until now. I have found it hard to take the first step, therefore I hope I will get the opportunity to participate in the GSoC project. For me this would only be the beginning contributing to the Fedora project if I would be given this chance.
Application
I have applied for the Integrate Proxy Settings and Network Connections(Locations) which is in the Idea list for GSoC 2012. I would really like to work on this project and therefore hope that I will be given this chance. My application for this project can be found on google-melange and the Fedora wiki. This project seemed really interesting to me considering I always enjoy working on applications concerned with networking. I also really like the thought that this would be really helpful for people using Fedora.
