  • Held since 2004, Latinoware is currently one of the biggest events in the world of free software. The event is held in Foz do Iguaçu, a Brazilian city located in a region called the Triple Border, near Argentina and Paraguay. It is estimated that about 4000 people, including students, professionals and specialists, participate in the event, which will take place between 14th and 16th October at the Itaipu Technological Park (PTI).

Fedora Activities at Latinoware

Fedora will have a booth at the event to publicize the Fedora Project, presentation of 4-5 talks in event grid to encourage the use of Fedora.

Budget

The project approved a budget of 2000 USD for Latinoware, which will be used to fund travel expenses for the volunteers visiting the conference and requests must be done through LATAM ticket tracker.
