Event Description

DEFCON is an annual hacker event at Paris/Bally's, where attendees from around the world discover security and hacking techniques. Workshops range from lockpicking, Capture the Flag, and scavenger hunt. As of May 26th, 2016, there were over 20k people confirmed and registered to attend for DEFCON 2015.

Why attend this event? DEFCON is known for its speaker presentations/demonstrations of security-related subjects. At this event, there are thousands from around the world who are dedicated to electronic tinkering. This is a great opportunity for Fedora to make an impact at a global level, following along with the Objectives of Building Open Source Software Communities set forth by the Fedora Council.

Perry Rivera is a Fedora Ambassador and can help support the event.
