Description
This test case tests is the user is able to share terminal session using tmate
Setup
- Ensure the
tmate
package is installed
How to test
- Run
tmate </tmate>
- Split the terminal or open new terminal session and copy the ssh session
- Copy the web session link to different browser tabs
- Type something from the web session and ssh session
Expected Results
- The commands typed in to the web and ssh session which are not read only will be executed
- You should be able to view the activity on read only
- Following output appears everytime you open session using tmate
Tip: if you wish to use tmate only for remote access, run: tmate -F [0/0]
To see the following messages again, run in a tmate session: tmate show-messages
