Switzerland

  • 4 official languages (French, German, Italian (and romansh)) . The communication has to be done in French, German or Italian.
  • the swiss users get help from the communities around Switzerland (Germany, France and Italy)
  • Switzerland is a "rich" countries and the people have the money to pay for software (and often want)
  • most linux users are using Ubuntu and SuSE (OpenSuSE)

  • we have the most beautiful mountains :-)
  • lowest goods and services tax (aka MwSt or VAT) in Europe
  • The swiss open source community is small and most people know each other and can help.
