About Me

Hey, Ankit here, working as a system architect (Web Applications) at a nearly decade old Organisation, I don't have very heavy academic qualifications, but yes, i having a drive i already have 4 Yrs of Work ex. at an age of 22 :)

Have been experimenting with Linux for the past 2 Years, and use it as a primary troubleshooting Base OS for network, based performance issues, arising in the designed apps. Getting fedora, was not a cake walk, i began with Fedora 7. I guess that's when it picked up momentum here in India. :)

Currently also a student at MPSTME, MNIMS University, Mumbai, India.

I observe every day the perils and challenges people face, and come across using NON - OS Software...

I makes me sad to see that our colleagues here struggle to keep the systems up and running in top notch state, that's when i installed VM Ware and ran a Fedora 10 installation (Live), and that was the starting of a new idea (not new actually, an old, but a practical workable solution).

Sorry for boring the readers, so let's get on with it here is what i intend.

1. Want to infuse the spirit of Open Source in the education system here in India and Mumbai for starters. 2. Popularize the concept of Smooth Computing (most of "us", have forgotten what it is "Problem Free"). 3. Enable the student community with fedora.

basically get the ball rolling in the education system.
