From Fedora Project Wiki

LinuxTag is a free software expo and conference with an emphasis on Linux. It is relatively large, in 2006 over 9.000 visitors from around 30 nations, claiming that it is the largest expo of this kind in Europe. The LinuxTag byline in this years is "where .COM meets .ORG". This includes both representatives from not-for-profit/community projects and from companies.


When and Where

Messe Berlin is providing the following fourniture for the booth.

  • 1 Bar
  • 1 large table (4-6 persons)
  • 1 table for the troubeshooting contest
  • 2 Discussion table (round, 2-3 persons)

The carpet will be anthracite.

Layout

  • StefanHeld has done a great job. RTS is sponsoring the following things:
  • 3x white large banners with Fedora Logo
  • 1500 - 2000 Flyer 4 pages, 4 colors printed and welted
  • 100x A0 Poster for LinuxTag
  • Acronis Germany did another great job (on behalf of RobertScheck) and is sponsoring the following things:
  • A big carton with branded lanyards, biros, dextroses and drops (some of these things can be used as goodies e.g. for troubleshooting contest)
  • Five software packages/licenses with "Acronis True Image 10 Home" for the use as price at the troubleshooting contest
  • They're also providing us live CDs with Disk Director for users with uncommon partitioning tables at the InstallParty
  • ETES is provides (on behalf of RobertScheck) a couple of DIN A4 table positioners (Tischaufsteller) e.g. to be able to present information from DIN A4 papers better
