Fedora Activities at FISL 15

FISL User Groups

Fedora will have a table at FISL's User Groups exposition area, where the Ambassadors will talk to people attending the conference, helping them with technical questions and distributing swag material (stickers, pins whatever).

ARM Install Fest

During the conference we will have some Ambassadors at Fedora table available to help people to install Fedora 20 in supported ARM devices providing install images.

Community Event

KVM Workshop on Fedora Rino Rondan and Eduardo Echeverria

KVM (for Kernel-based Virtual Machine) is a full virtualization solution for Linux on x86 hardware containing virtualization extensions (Intel VT or AMD-V). It consists of a loadable kernel module, kvm.ko, that provides the core virtualization infrastructure and a processor specific module, kvm-intel.ko or kvm-amd.k. I will invite to talk about kvm and their uses in Desktop/Server enviroments in order to create a Labs enviroment for Student and more examples for use it on a server enviroments.
