Description
X Series 2 fonts are built on freely available fonts and extended to support Persian, Arabic, Urdu, Pashto, Dari, Uzbek, Kurdish, Uighur, old Turkish (Ottoman) and modern Turkish (Roman).
These fonts are equipped with two font technologies, AAT and OpenType and can be used on any platform, Mac, Windows or Linux.

Caveats
- Moved to rejected fonts list because of unclear legal status of original fonts on which these fonts are based.
- Some of the fonts are not under OFL, but the creator says that you can package them under that license. It seems that he is not interested in updating fonts for now.
- These fonts are built on "freely available fonts". There are some Persian fonts around which do not have any meaningful license (They are licensed as: 1998 (c) Everyone!). I think he is also using them.
- Don't forget to add the appropriate fontconfig rules
