Description
X Series 2 fonts are built on freely available fonts and extended to support Persian, Arabic, Urdu, Pashto, Dari, Uzbek, Kurdish, Uighur, old Turkish (Ottoman) and modern Turkish (Roman).
These fonts are equipped with two font technologies, AAT and OpenType and can be used on any platform, Mac, Windows or Linux.

Caveats
- Some of the fonts are not under OFL, but the creator says that you can package them under that license. It seems that he is not interested in updating fonts for now.
- Some of these fonts are built based on the design of some "freely available fonts" (the author mentions that they are entirely rebuilt). There are some Persian fonts around which do not have any meaningful license (They are licensed as: 1998 (c) Everyone!).
- Don't forget to add the appropriate fontconfig rules
