Fedora @ CES 2016

https://cesweb.org/

Dates/Location

  • January 6 - 9, 2016
  • Las Vegas Convention and World Trade Center (LVCC), and a whole bunch of hotels and venues. Basically all of Las Vegas.
  • Air to Las Vegas, NV.

Event Description

The International Consumer Electronics Show (International CES) showcases more than 3,600 exhibitors, including manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, content, technology delivery systems and more; a conference program with 220 conference sessions; and more than 165,000 attendees from 150 countries.

Lulzbot, the company who makes the Open Hardware 3d printers that Fedora has used as a demo, has invited Fedora to participate as part of their booth at CES. This is a great opportunity for us to show off Fedora to a very very large audience of people interested in technology. We'll have a dedicated area in their booth and we'll be able to demo Fedora controlling a 3d printer (and hopefully, an open hardware 3d scanner).
