Deadline to drop kmods

  • FESCo approved a proposal to drop kmods immediately in Rawhide, since they will not be allowed in F9. Packages that depend on kmods will remain in Fedora because it's possible that the modules will get beaten into a shape, and included in upstream or Fedora kernels by F9 time.

PPC in F9+

  • FESCo approved a proposal for the build system bits to remain the same, but the QA & Release Engineering processes will be done by the PPC team.
