Why do you want to work with the Fedora Project?
Mainly because I found a task suitable for me and reasonable community. Moreover, I like Fedora for sentimental reasons: Red Hat Linux (pre-Fedora times) was the first GNU/Linux I've ever used.
Do you have any past involvement with the Fedora project or any other open source project as a contributor?
Not yet. It's going to be either GSoC in Fedora, or I'll be releasing some of the small projects I've done for myself, if I find it useful for community.
Did you participate with the past GSoC programs, if so which years, which organizations?
It's my first try.
Will you continue contributing/ supporting the Fedora project after the GSoC 2014 program, if yes, which team(s), you are interested with?
Yes. I'd see where I fit: it's hard to promise anything if you haven't tried yet. For starters, I'd like to work on whatever I may happen to write for The Fedora Project, as it'd be familiar.
Why should we choose you over other applicants?
There are quite a few reasons: I'm experienced in computer-related stuff as whole: proficient in GNU/Linux environment, good in C, Python and git usage. I have a deep understanding of how the things work, from down to top. This knowledge helps me do write the code right: I'm aware of good and bad practices. I'm a wicked perfectionist, always seeking improvement in whatever I happen to do, is it just the workflow, or maybe it's coding; especially if it's public. Years of practice in solving any kind of problems that might have occured gave me the skill to find the answers I need, or to answer my problem myself.
