Who uses the Fedora Account System?

Brand-New Contributors of All Types

Brand-new contributors will visit the account system as part of their 'getting started' experience. It will probably be their first real encounter with the technical aspects of actually being a contributor.

  • Get help (run into an error, etc) - [1]

  • Create a GPG key - [5]
  • Learn about CLA - [6]
  • Request CLA - [7] , [8]
  • Join a group / groups
  • (some) Download client-side certificate (for CVS?) - [9]

Administrators / Senior Contributors

The account system will be the place where admins and more senior contributors go to manage groups, add people, etc.

  • Add a person to a group
  • Approve a membership
  • Refuse a membership
  • Remove a person from a group
