Event Description
LinuxTag is a free software expo and conference with an emphasis on Linux. It is relatively large, in 2011 over 11.500 visitors from around 30 nations, claiming that it is the largest expo of this kind in Europe. The LinuxTag byline is as always "where .COM meets .ORG". This includes both representatives from not-for-profit/community projects and from companies.

to the hotel
- From Berlin Spandau take S5 to Strausberg Nord

- from Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Hbf) or Ostbahnhof take any of

- exit at station Savignyplatz
- take exit Bleibtreustraße
- walk down Bleibtreustraße
- hotel is on the left hand side after crossing Kurfürstendamm
from the hotel to Linuxtag
From Savignyplatz take S5 to Spandau and exit at Messe Süd. Follow the signs to Messe and LinuxTag.
To return, walk to Messe Süd, take S5 to Strausberg Nord and exit at Savignyplatz.
