Templates

These templates combine the use of Clearlooks derived from Blended

Concept Vancouver

"Vancouver" is a codename for this metacity theme.

1. Pointing a mouse on a menu will hightlight the item. Edge can be all rounded, rounded on top or not at all.

1. This toolbar contains navigation that blends with the window background. I have not study the use of GTK yet but the ideas can be based from Murrine. The Widget Factory is available on Extras repositoryto preview a GTK and metacity theme.

1. The window no longer has a border at the bottom to separate from the menu. Concept is derived from Blender which is also based from Clearlooks. The path or title is bold while the name of application is normal for better usability and readability.

1. Shall we keep button from Clearlook2 or Clearlooks? How about basing it from Microsoft Windows Vista's Aero (different colors for minimize, maximize and close)? How about taking a different approach of button layout similar ATER  ?

1. Bottom of window.

Concept Vancouver Alternate

This a variation of Concept Vancouver. The different is the adjacent rounded edge similar to the Gnome splash screen from Fedora Core 5.

1. Cursor pointing to the menu will hightlight it. That interaction is currently missing on both Fedora Core 5 and Fedora Core 6 using Clearlooks.

1. Navigation bar needs to enhance the highligthed border.

1. Frame

1. Bottom-left edge is rounded. Modeled after Gnome splash screen from Fedora Core 5.

1. Better way to differentiate the path with the application title.

1. A modified button with no top and bottom matching to the window frame.
