Description

This test case tests whether removing a color profile for a device in gnome-color-management is successful. It requires you to have more than one gnome-color-management handled device (so a second monitor, or any Linux-supported webcam or scanner or printer).

Setup

  1. Ensure the gnome-color-manager package is installed
  2. Remove any previous configuration by deleting the ~/.config/gnome-color-manager and ~/.color directories
  3. Ensure no color calibration hardware is connected

How to test

  1. Run the profile management tool: on the system menus, System / Preferences / Color Profiles
  2. On the Devices tab, select any device aside from the primary monitor
  3. Select any profile for the device
  4. Disconnect the device
  5. Click the Delete device button

Expected Results

  1. The Delete device button should be available for a device that has had a profile assigned but is disconnected
  2. The device should be removed from the list when deleted
