Description

This test case verifies that garcon, a menu library for the Xfce desktop environment, is working as expected.

Setup

  1. Make sure you have a working Xfce desktop environment.
  2. Install the garcon package with the command: sudo dnf install garcon

How to test

  1. Open the Xfce Application Menu by clicking the mouse icon on the panel.
  2. Browse through various menu categories like Office, Internet, and Multimedia.
  3. Open a few applications from the menu.
  4. Use the menu editor (alacarte) to add a new application launcher.
  5. Use the menu editor to remove an existing application launcher.

Expected Results

  1. The Xfce Application Menu should display without errors.
  2. All menu categories should accurately display the associated applications.
  3. Applications should launch as expected when selected from the menu.
  4. The new application launcher should appear in the menu.
  5. The removed application launcher should disappear from the menu.

For additional testing, you may customize the menu items and observe the behavior.
