Associated release criterion
This test case is associated with the Basic_Release_Criteria#disk-selection release criterion. Description

This test case tests whether you can successfully select a particular target device during a guided partitioning-based system installation.

Setup

1. Prepare a test system with two or more working, supported storage devices of sufficient size for a Fedora install, and a Fedora installation medium.
2. Ensure at least one of the devices contains some form of data (for later verification that it was left alone).

How to test

1. Boot the webui-based installer using any available means. Currently, that means using the Workstation live image and selecting "Install to Disk..." at the end of the initial setup process.
2. Select only one of the target devices you prepared as the installation target disk (if you have one populated and one empty disk, choose the empty one).
3. Ensure the option to let the installer handle partitioning by using the entire disk is selected, and move to next screen.
4. Complete the installation process, making sensible selections for all other installer options.
5. Boot the installed system.

Expected Results

1. The device(s) not selected as install target disks should not be touched by the installation process.
2. The expected partition layout should be created on the target device(s).
3. The install process should complete successfully and the installed system should boot as expected.
