From Fedora Project Wiki
- In the Test Plan section, could you give me an example of what a sufficient NetworkManager test would be? Do we need to test with every type of possible network, or just make sure you can bring the network up and down?
- How about an example of HAL device mounting? Is that just "insert a flash drive and make sure it mounts"?
- I'm guessing from the Test Plan that
hal
,NetworkManager
, andPackageKit
are among the most important affected packages. A complete sorted list follows:
[wwoods@brinstar ~]$ sudo repoquery -sf '/etc/dbus-1/system.d/*' --qf '%{NAME}' | sort -u avahi bluez ConsoleKit cups cups-pk-helper DeviceKit DeviceKit-disks DeviceKit-power dnsmasq fprintd galago-daemon GConf2 gdm gnome-applets gnome-lirc-properties gnome-panel gnome-system-monitor gypsy hal kerneloops modcluster NetworkManager NetworkManager-gnome NetworkManager-openconnect NetworkManager-openvpn NetworkManager-pptp NetworkManager-vpnc odccm oddjob oddjob-mkhomedir ohm PackageKit PolicyKit ricci setroubleshoot-server sugar system-config-printer-libs system-config-samba system-config-services wpa_supplicant yum-updatesd
Do any of these packages require special testing? --WillWoods 17:09, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
