I don't object to this feature, in fact, I think its a good idea. But the release notes section reads more like a mission statement, or a sales pitch for snake oil than release notes.
Some of the supported apps leave me a little cold, too. OK, I like the electromagnetic simulation thing, we need more good domain-specific apps. But how many window managers do we need? Yet another editor? Another implementation of Perl? Maybe I spent too much time in corporate IT, but it seems like there are an awful lot of apps out there whose only "advantage" over a hundred others is that they are written in "my favorite language".
- Afaik, in the category of tiling window managers, there xmonad seems to be one of the most actively developed one. But I did not check this recently. Is there even another tiling window manager available in Fedora? --22:12, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
