I updated the url for the repo tool which didnt work

--Smouch (talk) 08:58, 19 September 2012 (UTC) I'm not sure these directions make a lot of sense. Requirements section indicates that one should download the Android SDK (but does not discuss installation) Then in a section entitled "Install Android SDK" we are directed to a different URL, and instructed to install it into our $HOME directory rather than a shared location.

Neither of these instructions indicate following the GOOGLE installation procedure here

--Smouch (talk) 10:21, 19 September 2012 (UTC) Actually it appears these instructions are now almost entirely obsolete as of eclipse/Juno and the latest android SDK. Menu options have moved. Application names have changed. Dialog layout and fields are very different.

--Tadej (talk) 15:53, 01 April 2013 (UTC) The HOWTO should at least mention the android-tools RPM package, which contains Android platform tools (adb, fastboot). The package is available for F17+.

I've tried following these instructions multiple times on a fresh Fedora 19 install and they just don't work. Some steps don't even seem possible. All I got out of it was several wasted hours and 2 GB of non-working software and SDKs lying around on my hard disk. :( Does anyone have a link to any instructions for setting up an Android development environment on Fedora that actually work?
