why is fedora burning mandatory
Considered not requiring a fedora-burned yubikey? I imagine that would require fedora infrastructure to delegate to the https://yubikey.com/... for OTP verification. It would make using a single yubikey for multiple purposes possible. So if one is not interested in a fedora-dedicated yubikey, but would like somewhat better security than plain old password, this could be a usable intermediate point.
