This template is used to return a formatted version string for fedora.

Parameters

Format

  • Number (ex. 9) Default
  • Short (ex. F9)
  • Long (ex. Fedora 9)
  • Full (ex. Fedora release 9 (Sulphur))
    • For Fedora releases > 20, the parenthetical release name is suppressed since it no longer exists.
  • Cloud (ex. Fedora Cloud 21)
  • Server (ex. Fedora Server 21)
  • Workstation (ex. Fedora Workstation 21)

Version

  • current Default
  • previous
  • next
  • number - a specific release

Examples

{{FedoraVersion}} returns 41.

{{FedoraVersion|short}} returns F41.

{{FedoraVersion|long|2}} returns Fedora 2.

{{FedoraVersion|number|next}} : Instead use {{FedoraVersionNumber|next}}

{{FedoraVersion|full|previous}} returns Fedora 40.

{{FedoraVersion||previous2}} returns 39.

{{FedoraVersion|server|next2}} returns Fedora Server 43.
