From Fedora Project Wiki
The Red Hat/Fedora 2008 University Tour is meant to increase awareness of Open Source and related issues amongst college students and to try and begin to build a baseline for community interaction and involvement with college students. Additionally, a secondary goal is to gauge interest amongst university faculties with regards to their willingness to adopt and promote open source solutions and methodologies.
