Kenneth lives in Charleston, South Carolina, with his wife, Clarisse. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and from the University of Phoenix with a Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems. He plans to pursue his Doctor of Philosophy in Strategy and Innovation from Capella University. He is currently working on his manuscript for Authentication and Authorization Services with Picketlink, which is to be published during summer of 2013.

Kenneth is a member of the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS) and the Object Management Group (OMG). He has worked with multiple standards including the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), the Advanced Message Queueing Protocol (AMQP), WS-Trust, the eXtensible Access Control Markup Language (XACML), the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and OpenID.

Kenneth has spent the last 7 years, with the last 3 being with Red Hat, working as a Consultant for the government for the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and Intelligence Community. He designed, built and lead multiple projects including the Enterprise Security Federation Framework (ESF2), Information Assured Android Device (IA2D) and JBoss SCAP Content. During this time he has worked with Open Source Software with a focus on Red Hat and JBoss Products and Information Assurance. He also received his Security+ and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) certifications.

Prior to working as a Consultant, he worked in the Telecommunications and Healthcare Industries. He has worked on Open Source Software since 1996 and in software development since 1991. During his career he has worked in many aspects and roles of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Kenneth has joined the Product Business Unit as a JBoss Technology Evangelist with a focus on Fuse, SOA and EDS products.
