Chi sono io - Who am I
Lavoro a Genova nel settore delle bonifiche ambientali.
Mi ha sempre appassionato l'informatica a livello di utilizzatore finale.
Dalla fine degli anni '80 fino al 1997 ho utilizzato e gestito sistemi Apple e rete Appletalk entro l'azienda ove lavoravo, quindi sono passato a sistemi Windows fino al 2005.
Da quell'anno in iniziato lo switch-off da Win verso Linux, completato nel 2008.
I primi sistemi Linux installati e provati sono stati Ubuntu ed Opensuse, ma appena scoperta, a suo tempo, Fedora 7 Moonshine ne ho apprezzato subito, oltre che la nuance del blu, che adoro, l'efficacia del SO e la filosofia della community.
Da quel momento utilizzo e faccio utilizzare, sia in ambito familiare che aziendale, esclusivamente Fedora nella sua release corrente, dandone l'opportuno supporto per la manutenzione e l'aggiornamento.
I work in Genoa in the environmental sector, but I like Information Technology as an end user.
From late '80s until 1997, I used and managed Apple and AppleTalk network within the company where I worked. After that period, I switched to Windows systems until 2005.
From that year I started the switch-off by Windows to Linux, which it was completed in 2008.
The first Linux systems I've installed and tested were openSUSE and Ubuntu, but newly discovered, at that time, Fedora 7 Moonshine, I appreciated, as well as the shades of blue, the effectiveness of the OS and the philosophy of community.
From that moment I use and invite to use, both in the family and friends business, exclusively Fedora in its current release, giving the necessary support for maintenance and updating.

I use Fedora at work, in talks, during lessons and in every PC' use, and diffuse goals, philosophy, installation and use.
I would like to become Ambassador and participate in the Italian translation of the documentation.
