Aryan Karamtoth alias SpaciousCoder78 is a software developer, writer and a language localisation maintainer. He has been using computers since 2007 and Linux since 2017. He fully switched to Linux in 2024 after abandoning Windows. He uses mint btw.

He is currently in college pursuing Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology in India. He is fond of computers and is interested in pursuing a PhD in Computer Science. He is also a member of professional engineering organisations such as Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Indian Society for Technical Education(ISTE)

Aryan is currently involved in various open source organisations such as the Python Software Foundation, Fedora Project, GNOME Foundation, Linux Mint and Ubuntu. He is currently handling Telugu language localisations and is maintaining the localisations of projects and actively encouraging more users to contribute to open source.

He is an active contributor to open source and has been to various Open Source conferences such as UbuCon Asia 2024 at Jaipur, India.

He is also a writer who maintains a lot of blogs and writes articles frequently. His technical blog is Ballad of SpaciousCoder78, where he writes about technical and programming topics. He also maintains a Medium blog where he writes about life.
