Boilerplate Responses

These are stock responses to be used when a specific inquiry is received. It is important to let the person or group making the inquiry understand that this is a response on behalf of the Fedora Project, and not just a personal response. CC the mailing list on all responses to keep everyone apprised.

we don't actually control the site in question.

SHA checksum confusion on .iso files

There is a large note on https://fedoraproject.org/verify about this:

   Please note that the Hash: SHA1 line in the CHECKSUM file is part
   of the PGP signature. It does not specify the type of hash used to
   verify the .iso files.

Many people are confused by this and we plan to include text in the
CHECKSUM files themselves for future releases to make it clearer.

Inquiry regarding how to join the websites team

The best starting point would be our join page [1], where you should follow the points step by step.
PHP and Python skills are welcome, because the sites are build with Html/CSS and the Genshi framework
for internationalization.
It would be a good idea taking a look at the bootstrap grid [2], because there are many divs and classes in our
source files.

Finally, to get started, you need: 
* to clone our repo. See [3] and join the web FAS group.
* start working on tickets, see easyfix [4] at the beginning or our Trac [5]. You can send your patches
there.
